That’s the comment that was heard after the delivery of this scrumptious “Vuelve a la Vida” cocktail was delivered to our table.  I can’t remember the name of the restaurant, but it is from the pirate themed restaurant on Port Isabel right by the pier.

Nothing better than being one w/nature,. The natural beautify of SPI is awesome!  Sometimes you get to be up close and personal.

Fireworks at South Padre Island

Wow!  Can anything beat the colors of a Texas sunset?  Well maybe a Texas sunset at South Padre Island.

Sunset over Laguna Madre

I will be featuring some personal work for a while.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!  Feel free to comment.

Let’s start with a view of South Padre Island.  Maybe a long stretch, but it feels the closest thing to the Caribbean that we have in TX…ok maybe a long stretch.  You can see the bay to your left and the Gulf to the right.  This is from last summer, about this same time actually.

We managed to dodge two hurricanes and got a little bit of rain from a tropical storm.  We actually enjoyed the rougher waves.  Wished SPI had been as lucky this season though.
