As a child blooms into the blessing of their first communion so do Blue Bonnets in the Spring. Imagine our (mom’s and I) surprise when we stumbled across this tiny, but beautiful Bonnet patch. We had to work it in the portraits of course! These will probably be the most bonnets we will see in these parts!
A fun session as usual, but every subject brings their own little special something. I would say that B’s eyes and smile along with such an easy going personality were it for her first communion session. We had a lot of fun and boy was it windy on Sunday evening. B and her mom were such troopers though. We made the wind work in our favor as it swept B’s hair and veil “just” right. Hey one would usually require a fan and all the trouble that goes along with managing one “on location” for the same effect! The sun was not out, but that only helped the colors of the gorgeous grounds to be that much more intense. Everything was perfect to show off her very classy and elegant attire!
I’m sharing a few shots for this session and will share more later. Congratulations to B and her family on such a memorable and special time in a young child’s spiritual life. Oh and I’m sorry Mom. I should have warned you! That gallery slide show usually evokes tears…of joy!
Enjoy!
